My own Triumph 3SW
I am a dutch owner of a few English motorcycles and among them there is my Triumph 3SW war machine.
As Rob (wdnorton.nl) has challanged us all to build army motorcycle websites; I finally decide to accept his challange.
I am not a military man but I consider myself as a motorcyclist and by accident in possession of 2 army motorcycles; the Triumph 3SW
and a Norton 16h.
Both bikes are lots of fun and used many times a year for all purposes, military events as Market Garden and Rallies as the Belgian Liege-Nancy-Liege.
As commuter my daily transport is an old Honda, but in the summer when sufficient daylight is available, the old bikes are used too.
I am not afraid for rough terrain; use them as they where designed for.
With this website I hope to find out more about the history of this rare army motorcycle and to find out how many have suvived.
If you have any information you like to share with me and and to all the other Triumph owners, please send me a mail; the address is on the framenumbers page.
